Why did you decide to go into the fashion industry?
My passion is definitely fashion. I grew up like this and I can’t get away from it. I’m here to embrace it.

What is a typical day at work for you?
Since I’m the creative director for the whole company, so I’ve now started designing for my own brand. But before I started choosing which brands are cool and are suitable for our company and choosing the right stuff to provide excellent service.

Did you go to University and what did you study?
Yes, I did, but actually I went for aviation, so it was a completely different role.

How did you change from aviation to fashion?
Actually, my fashion started as a hobby in the beginning, so my study was aviation and then I had to work in airlines. But then I kept travelling between the two things and yeah here we are.

Did you do any internships?
I did an internship with an Indonesian fashion designer, her name’s Lenny Agustin. She also dressed Miss Universe from Indonesia and Miss Universe who came to Indonesia. So, I was like a really big fan of her and she took me on.

One piece of advice you would give someone trying to go down the same career path as yourself?
Reach for the stars. You have to go for it, don’t hold back, just do it. Go for it.

Top three skills you need to have in your career?
You have to be able to juggle, so many things come on your table. And you have to be a problem-solver, because there will be so many problems to solve. And you have to be creative and find out a way outside the box

How important is the dress code for a first interview?
It’s the most important, because you have one shot and it speaks right to you because I always say fashion, or style, is the window of yourself so you have to put it right. This first chance and only one chance

Do you have any tips for facing rejection?
Just move on and just “Okay it happens, you know nobody’s perfect. I may be too this or too that, but I'll continue myself and I believe in myself”. That’s it
